    Description

    Original Civil War Union Army enlisted men's shoulder scale.  Originally designed to withstand a downward sword strike, they were very unpopular with soldiers early in the war and more are known to be found dug, than non-dug.  When running down a battle field, they made a loud "glanging" sound and their shine made a great target.  This listing is four one nice non-dug example displayed in a Riker's display case as pictured.  Displays great but the back is missing a reinforcement bar.
