Original Civil War cavalry hat cord unissued with ties

Description

Nice original hat cord with the ties still in tact.  It's a nice golden color, not super bright yellow.  It does have smell of wool from 1860s.  It's not moldy or musty, just has the original smell.  I note this just in case you are sensitive to smells, but must Civil War collectors are aware of this already.
