1862-1863 Twenty Five Cents United States Fractional Currency

This note is
over 154 years old
and in excellent shape for its age!  The note features 5 faces of the Third President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson.  The back of the note displays the number

surrounded by detail of the value of the note.  The front top of the note states "
Postage Currency
" and the front bottom states "
Receivable for Postage Stamps at any US Post Office.
"
This note is known as
Fractional Currency
and was issued from August 21, 1862 through May 29, 1863.

We ship all our items via USPS First Class, Priority or Express Mail. We package all the notes in a protective sleeve with a cardboard backing and ship them in a bubble envelope.
Most items shipped within the United States have a modest shipping and handling fee depending on the value of the item(s). For our International customers, if you purchase multiple items, we will ship all purchases in one envelope so you pay only one shipping fee.  We will ship your item(s) within 5 days from the purchase date. If you plan on bidding on more of our auctions, please let us know and we will hold off on shipping.
